Getting started with Tourium

For: Everyone — new agent or new supplier

Tourium is a shared workspace for the travel trade. Lodge and property suppliers use it to manage their rate sheets, property details, and partnership agreements. Travel agents use it to receive rates, sign contracts, request pricing, and discover supplier promotions. Both sides of the industry work in the same platform, so there's one place for everyone to stay in sync.

Two kinds of account

When you sign up you'll be set up as one of two account types:

  • Agent — a travel agency, tour operator, or DMC. You're buying or distributing product, not selling rooms directly.
  • Supplier — a lodge, hotel, resort, or service provider. You own or operate the product that agents sell.

You can tell which type you have by looking at your sidebar: suppliers see tools for rates, properties, and STO agreements; agents see tools for browsing rates and signing contracts. Your tenant type is fixed when your account is created.

How you get an account

Most people arrive at Tourium by invitation:

  • Agents are usually invited by a supplier who wants to share rates or a partnership agreement with them. The invitation arrives as an email with a signup link. Click the link and you'll be walked through setting a password (or using Google / LinkedIn / Facebook sign-in) and confirming your name.
  • Suppliers are often invited after a rate sheet is uploaded via an email link. The invitation works the same way — click it, create your account, and you'll land on your dashboard.

If your email already has a Tourium account, the signup link signs you straight in instead of creating a duplicate.

Your first day

Once you're signed in:

  1. Complete guided setup. A full-screen wizard walks you through configuring your account right after you sign up — creating your brand, inviting your team, turning on modules, and more. Only the brand step is required; everything else can be skipped and picked up again later from the dashboard card.
  2. Follow the platform tour. Once guided setup is complete (or you exit it), an interactive walkthrough starts automatically and highlights each feature in your sidebar. If you skip it, you can always restart it from Settings → Profile → Restart Platform Tour.
  3. Agents — accept your first shared rates. If a supplier invited you, you probably already have rates or an agreement waiting. Check Rates → Shared Rates and Contracts in the sidebar.
