Dropbox Import

Dropbox Import is a paid add-on that connects your Dropbox account to Tourium so you can pull files straight into your shared library instead of downloading them and uploading them again.
It's aimed at teams who already keep their rate sheets, fact sheets and imagery in Dropbox and don't want two copies of everything.
Turning it on
- Go to Billing and find Dropbox Import in the Add-Ons list.
- Switch it on. A confirmation dialog shows the price and what your add-ons will come to per month.
- Confirm. If this is your first paid add-on you'll be taken to a secure checkout; nothing is charged until you complete it.
Connecting your Dropbox
- Go to Shared Library and choose Import from Dropbox.
- You'll be sent to Dropbox to sign in and approve access. Tourium only asks for permission to read files you choose.
- Once approved you're returned to Tourium and the file browser opens.
You only connect once — after that the browser opens straight away.
Importing files
- Browse your Dropbox folders in the panel.
- Tick the files you want.
- Suppliers are then asked Who can view the imported files, exactly as on a normal upload. This starts on Same as the folder it's in, so an import into a private folder stays private and an import into the Public folder is visible to all your connections straight away. Change it here if you want a different audience.
- Confirm. Tourium copies the files into your shared library. The originals in Dropbox are untouched.
Imported files behave exactly like ones you uploaded directly: you can file them into folders, change who can view them afterwards, link them to properties and services, and send rate sheets on for extraction.
Importing does not publish anything by itself. Nothing you bring in from Dropbox is visible to an agent until its audience says so. See Shared library for how the Who can view setting works.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect Dropbox at any time from the shared library. Files already imported stay in Tourium — disconnecting only stops further browsing and importing.
Switching the add-on off does the same, and asks you to confirm first, showing what your monthly cost drops to.
