Navigating Tourium

For: Everyone Where to find it: Visible on every page

This article explains the main pieces of the Tourium interface so you always know where to click.

The sidebar

The sidebar runs down the left of every page and groups features by category. Click any item to jump to that section. Some items have a small arrow next to them — these expand to show sub-pages (for example, Rates expands to My Rates and Incoming Requests).

Your sidebar looks different depending on your account type:

  • Suppliers see a Supplier Tools group with STO Forms, Rates, Shared Library, Manage Specials, and the Graph Editor.
  • Agents see an Agent Tools group with Contracts, Rates (with Rate Requests and Shared Rates), Partner Documents, and the Specials Feed.
  • Everyone sees a Platform group with Touri Chat, Network, Messaging, and Tickets.

If a feature in the list below isn't on your sidebar, it means either your account type doesn't have access to it or your subscription plan doesn't include that module.

Clicking the Tourium logo at the top of the sidebar takes you back to the dashboard from anywhere in the app.

The bottom of the sidebar

At the bottom of the sidebar you'll find:

  • Your organisation name, which opens the organisation settings (team, brands, billing).
  • Your avatar, which opens a personal menu with links to your profile, settings, and sign out.

If you manage multiple brands, you'll also see a brand switcher at the top of the sidebar — see Brand switching.

The top bar

The top bar runs along the top of every page and contains:

  • Breadcrumbs showing where you are in the app.
  • A notification bell on the right — click it to see recent alerts. A red dot means you have unread notifications. See Notifications.
  • Your avatar on the right, with quick access to settings and sign out.

Unread indicators

Some sidebar items show a small red dot when there's something waiting for you:

  • Messaging gets a red dot when you have unread messages.
  • Notifications (the bell icon) shows a red dot when you have unread alerts.

On mobile

On a phone, the sidebar collapses and appears as a slide-over menu. Tap the menu icon at the top-left to open it.

Tips

  • The sidebar remembers whether you last left it expanded or collapsed.
  • Settings for your personal account (profile, password, appearance) live under your avatar menu. Settings for your organisation (team, brands, billing) live under the organisation name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • If a feature disappears from your sidebar, your plan or account type may have changed. Check with your team admin.
