Team management
For: Admins and organisation owners Where to find it: Sidebar → your organisation name → Team
The Team page is where you invite colleagues to join your organisation on Tourium, assign them roles, and remove people when they leave. It's only available to admins and owners — regular members don't see it.
What you'll see
- Your current team members, showing each person's name, email, role, and status.
- Pending invitations, listing people you've invited who haven't accepted yet.
- A seat count, showing how many of your plan's allowed team seats you're using and how many are left.
Your current user is highlighted in the list.
Common tasks
Invite a team member
- Click Invite User.
- Enter their email address.
- Pick a role from the dropdown.
- Click Send.
Tourium emails the person an invitation with a signup link. They click the link, create a password, and they're added to your team.
Resend an invitation
Pending invitations can be resent from the pending list — useful if the original email went to spam or was missed. Invitations expire after a while, so resending also extends the window.
Change a team member's role
Click the member's row, then select a new role from the dropdown. You'll be asked to confirm if the change reduces their access level.
Remove a team member
Use the remove action on their row. They lose access to the organisation immediately. You can't remove yourself — if you want to leave, another admin has to remove you, or you have to transfer ownership first.
Roles
Different roles have different levels of access. Typical roles include:
- Owner — full access, including billing.
- Admin — full access except billing.
- Member — can use the product but can't manage the team or billing.
Some roles may only be available on certain plans. If you try to assign a role that isn't available on your current plan, Tourium will let you know.
Per-feature permissions
Beyond roles, you can fine-tune exactly which features each member can use. Click Manage permissions on a member's row to open the permission editor — a list of feature toggles, each with a short description of what it grants, covering areas like the network directory, messaging, tickets, Touri Chat, rates, specials, and:
- Manage organisation — view and edit organisation details, company profile, logo and plan.
- Manage billing — view and manage billing, invoices, usage, subscription changes and top-ups.
- Manage team — view team members, invite users and manage their roles and permissions.
Owners and Super Admins always have Full access and can't be restricted. When a member lacks a permission, the corresponding sidebar items and dashboard actions are simply hidden for them — they won't see what they can't use.
Seats and your plan
Suppliers get unlimited team members at no cost — invite as many colleagues as you need.
Agents pay per seat, so adding a team member adds to the monthly bill (see Billing and subscriptions). You'll be told what the change costs before it's applied.
Tips
- Invitations expire — check pending invites every so often and resend anything that's gone stale.
- Changing someone's role takes effect the next time they navigate to a new page; they don't need to log out and back in.
- Removing a team member doesn't delete their user account — it just removes them from your organisation.
