Invoices and usage

For: Organisation owners and admins Where to find it: Sidebar → your organisation name → BillingView Invoices / View Usage

Tourium keeps a full record of your payments and of the allowances you've consumed. Usage is tracked for everyone, including free suppliers; the Invoices page fills up once you have paid for something — an optional module, extra seats, or a top-up pack. Both pages are linked from the main Billing page.

Invoices

What you'll see

The Invoices page is a table of every payment on your account, newest first. Each row shows:

  • Date — when the payment was processed.
  • Payment status — as reported by PayFast (the payment gateway).
  • Total — what you paid in full.
  • Fee — any processing fee.
  • Net — the amount Tourium received after fees.
  • Status — an overall status with a coloured badge: Completed or Paid (green), Billed (blue), or Past Due (red).

Older invoices appear on subsequent pages — use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table.

Each recurring charge is billed as a single combined amount (plan plus any extras and add-ons). For a line-by-line breakdown, see your current plan on the Billing page.

On-demand charges

Below the recurring payments, an On-demand charges section lists one-off charges billed to your card — such as the prorated amount when you enable an add-on (or an Itinerary Builder seat) mid-cycle. Each shows a description and a Charged or Failed status.

Common tasks

Open an invoice

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Click View Invoices.
  3. Browse the table. Use the pagination buttons to go further back.

Get a copy of a receipt

Tourium doesn't currently expose a download button on every invoice. If you need a formal receipt or PDF, use Contact sales and ask for a copy — include the date of the invoice.

Usage

What you'll see

The Usage page shows two sections:

  1. Current period — how much of each allowance you've used in the current billing cycle, with progress bars. Same layout as the metric cards on the Billing page, plus the exact date range (e.g., "Jan 1 — Jan 31") and your plan name.
  2. Usage history — past billing periods, one row each, showing the period dates, plan, and the metrics that matter for your account type.

Agents see chat tokens and team seats. Suppliers see chat tokens, properties, and e-signatures. If you've bought top-ups, the extra amount is shown separately on each metric.

Common tasks

Check your current usage

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Click View Usage.
  3. Read the Current period card.

Progress bars follow a traffic-light pattern — green when you're comfortably within limits, yellow at 80%, red once you've gone over.

See how much you used last month

Scroll down to the Usage history table on the Usage page. Each row is one past billing period, from newest to oldest.

Tips

  • If a metric is consistently close to its limit every month, talk to our team — there may be a better arrangement than repeat top-ups.
  • Usage history is a good thing to check when reviewing your subscription — spikes in chat token use usually correlate with specific projects or sales pushes.
  • Dates are shown in South African format ("15 Jan 2024"). Don't be surprised if they look slightly different from your locale.
