Profile settings
For: Everyone Where to find it: Click your avatar (bottom of the sidebar) → Settings → Profile
Your profile settings are where you change your name, email address, and a handful of personal account actions. It's about you, not your organisation — if you're looking for team members, billing, or brand details, see the articles under "Your organisation" on the shared help index.
Common tasks
Change your first or last name
- Open Settings → Profile.
- Edit the First Name or Last Name field.
- Click Save.
First name is required; last name is optional. Changes save immediately.
Change your email address
- Open Settings → Profile.
- Edit the Email field.
- Click Save.
Tourium will send a verification email to the new address. Until you click the link inside it, you'll see a blue warning banner at the top of the profile page letting you know your email isn't verified yet. You can click Resend verification email from that banner if the original didn't arrive.
Restart the platform tour
If you've already completed or skipped the guided walkthrough, there's a Restart Platform Tour button on this page. Click it to run the tour from the beginning. This is useful if you want to refresh your memory of a feature you haven't touched in a while. See Platform tour.
Delete your account
At the bottom of the Profile page there's a Delete Account button in red. Clicking it opens a confirmation dialog that asks for your password.
This is permanent. Once your account is deleted, you can't sign back in with the same email — your user, your personal settings, and your access to your organisation are all removed. If you're the only admin on your organisation, talk to someone on your team before deleting so they can take over first.
Tips
- Making sure your email is verified is important — password reset emails and critical notifications both go to that address.
- Changing your email does not move you to a different organisation. Your membership stays the same; only the login address changes.
- If the Save button is greyed out, it's because you haven't changed anything yet. Edit a field and it will enable.
