The Graph Editor is a visual tool for reviewing and editing the extracted structure of a rate document. It's used during the rate document review process when you need a more structural view than the standard review screen — a tree on the left, an edit panel on the right, and the ability to see properties, rates, service providers, categories, and services in the same hierarchy.

Most suppliers will never need the Graph Editor. The standard review screen handles almost every editing task. The Graph Editor is there for complex, multi-property documents where you want to see everything at once and restructure the data quickly.

What it looks like

  • An empty-state screen with two buttons — Add Property and Add Service — if the current document has no extracted data.
  • Once you have data, a split view:
    • Left pane (about 25%) — a tree with every property, its rates, every service provider, its categories, and their services. Click an item to select it.
    • Right pane (about 75%) — an edit form for whatever's selected. The form changes depending on what you're editing.

Common tasks

Click a property to expand it and see its rates. Click a service provider to expand it and see its categories and services. Selecting an item loads its edit form in the right pane.

Edit a property

  1. Click the property in the tree.
  2. Use the tabs in the right pane — Basic Info, Descriptions, Policies, Images.
  3. Update fields. Changes live in the draft until the wider rate review flow is saved.
  4. Use the delete button in the right pane if you need to remove the whole property.

Edit a rate under a property

  1. Expand the property in the tree.
  2. Click the rate.
  3. In the right pane, edit currency, price, meal plan, rate type, and price unit.
  4. Use the Includes and Excludes lists to add or remove inclusions (e.g., "breakfast", "airport transfer").
  5. Taxes and levies can be added via their own list.

Add a service provider, category, or service

In the empty state, click Add Service. Tourium creates a service provider skeleton in the tree. Use the plus buttons next to section headers to add a category underneath, and then services underneath the category. Click any item to edit it in the right pane.

Delete items

Every property, rate, and service has a delete action in the right pane or via a contextual button on the tree entry. Deletion is local to the draft until the rate review is finalised — nothing is permanently gone until you approve the overall document.

Where this fits

The Graph Editor is part of the rate document review pipeline. You'd typically reach it after uploading a rate document and needing to review the extracted data in a structural way — for example, if the document covers several properties and the AI mixed them up. Changes in the Graph Editor flow into the same draft that the standard review screen edits, so you can work in either.

Tips

  • Start with the standard review screen for most edits. Only switch to the Graph Editor when the structural view genuinely helps.
  • The tree can get dense quickly. Collapse sections you're not working on to keep focus.
  • Only the first service provider is shown in the review UI — if a document has multiple providers, they're represented in the data but the visual review is focused on the first. Keep that in mind if your document is unusually complex.
  • If you're not sure whether to delete a property or just edit it, edit first. Deletion is easy to undo during review (by re-extracting), but it saves time if you catch the issue without throwing everything away.
