Notifications
For: Everyone Where to find it: The bell icon in the top-right of every page
Notifications are short alerts that tell you something happened on your account — a new message arrived, a rate was shared with you, a contract was signed, an agreement needs your attention. They're a fast way to keep up with activity without having to refresh every page.
What you'll see
A bell icon lives in the top-right corner of every Tourium page. When you have unread notifications, a small red dot appears on the bell. Click it to open the notifications panel.
Each notification includes:
- An icon indicating what kind of event it is.
- A short title and a sentence describing what happened.
- A timestamp.
- Small icons for marking it read or deleting it.
Common tasks
Open the notification panel
Click the bell icon in the top-right. The panel opens as a dropdown below it, with your most recent notifications first.
Open the thing a notification refers to
Click the body of the notification. Tourium takes you to the page that notification is about — for example, clicking a "new message" notification opens that conversation in Messaging.
Mark a single notification as read
Click the notification (clicking it both opens it and marks it read), or click the small "mark read" icon next to it.
Delete a notification
Click the delete (trash) icon on the notification. It disappears from your list.
Mark all notifications as read at once
Click Mark all as read at the top of the panel. Every unread notification becomes read, and the red dot on the bell goes away.
Clear everything
Click Clear all to delete every notification in your list. Only do this if you're sure you've acted on anything important — there's no undo.
Filter the list
Use the tabs at the top of the panel to switch between All and Unread only — the Unread tab hides notifications you've already seen.
Tips
- Notifications update in real time. If something happens while you're already looking at the panel, it appears at the top of the list.
- Old notifications may be hidden from the default view but are still archived. Use the filter to dig back.
- The unread count is recalculated every time you open the panel — if it looks wrong, closing and reopening it refreshes it.
