Specials feed

The Specials Feed is where you see promotional offers from the suppliers you're connected to — seasonal discounts, package deals, flash sales, early-booker offers. Each special has a validity window, a description, sometimes a downloadable flyer, and an expiry date. Use it as part of your weekly routine to catch anything you can pitch to clients.

What you'll see

At the top of the page, three stat cards:

  • Total specials available.
  • New — ones you haven't opened yet.
  • Viewed — ones you've already seen.

Below the stats, a search box followed by a table listing every special you have access to. The table columns:

  • Title (with a short preview of the description).
  • Created By — the supplier brand.
  • Valid From and Valid To dates, with colour-coded badges if the special has expired or is expiring in the next few days.
  • Status — New (eye icon) or Viewed (green checkmark).

Common tasks

Browse the feed

Open Specials Feed in the sidebar. Every special your connected suppliers have sent you appears in the table. New specials are flagged with a "New" badge.

Search for a special

Type into the Search specials... box and press Enter or click the search icon. The table filters to specials where your keyword matches the title or description.

View a special's details

Click any row in the table. Tourium takes you to a detail page with:

  • The full title and description.
  • The supplier name.
  • The valid-from and valid-to dates.
  • A file attachment (if any) with a download button.

Opening the detail page automatically marks the special as Viewed.

Download an attachment

If a special includes a flyer or PDF with full terms, open the detail page and click the download button next to the file. It downloads to your device.

Page through the feed

When you have many specials, the table paginates. Use the Previous and Next buttons (or click a specific page number) at the bottom of the table.

Reading the date badges

  • Expired (red) — the special's validity has passed. You can still see it for reference but it's no longer bookable.
  • Expiring in X days (yellow) — the validity window closes soon. Act fast or let your client know.
  • No badge — the special is still comfortably within its validity window.

Tips

  • Check the feed at least once a week. Specials are time-limited, and a good offer in November could save your December client real money.
  • New specials show up automatically — if a supplier sends one while you're on the page, the table refreshes in real time.
  • If a supplier you work with isn't sending you any specials, check that you're still connected to them. See Network directory.
  • The search is title-and-description only. If you're looking for a supplier's specials, it's usually quicker to filter by scrolling the Created By column.
