Viewing shared rates

For: Agents Where to find it: Sidebar → Rates → Shared Rates

When a supplier shares a rate sheet with you, it lands here. The page has two parts: rate shares that are still pending your acceptance, and rate sheets you've already accepted, grouped by supplier.

What you'll see

  • A "Pending Rate Shares" card at the top when you have any unaccepted shares. It lists each supplier who wants to share rates with you and gives you Accept and Decline buttons.
  • An "Accepted Rates by Supplier" section below, grouped by supplier name. Each supplier's card shows how many rate sheets they've shared and a list of them.

Each rate sheet in the accepted list shows:

  • Its name.
  • Its document type (rate sheet, contract, brochure).
  • Its rate classification (STO, rack, special).
  • Any discount percentage.
  • A badge labelled "Accepted" (green) or "PDF only" (warning colour, for documents the supplier uploaded but didn't process for extraction).

Common tasks

Accept a pending rate share

  1. Open Rates → Shared Rates.
  2. Find the supplier in the Pending Rate Shares card.
  3. Click the green Accept button.

A toast confirms "Rate share accepted" and the rate sheet moves into your accepted list below, ready to view.

Accepting also gives you any supporting files the supplier attached to that rate — its fact sheet and property or room images. They appear in Partner Documents. If the supplier later revokes the share or deletes the rate sheet, those files go with it.

Decline a pending rate share

  1. Find the supplier in the Pending Rate Shares card.
  2. Click Decline (the X icon).

The share is removed. Nothing is sent to the supplier — they'll notice only because the status on their end changes.

View a rate sheet PDF

  1. Find the rate sheet in the accepted list.
  2. Click View PDF.

The PDF opens in a new browser tab. You can download it from the viewer if you want a local copy.

Find a specific supplier's rates

The page is grouped by supplier, so scroll until you find the right name. If you have a lot of connections, use your browser's Find (Ctrl/Cmd + F) to search the page.

Understanding the badges

  • Accepted — you've accepted the share, and the supplier has uploaded a rate sheet you can view.
  • PDF only — the supplier shared the document without running it through rate extraction. You can still view the PDF, but the AI assistant (Touri Chat) can't answer detailed questions about its contents.

Supplier-managed rates

If you've uploaded a supplier's rate sheets yourself and that supplier later joins Tourium and takes them over, those sheets appear in a separate Supplier-managed section on this page. The supplier now keeps them up to date — you can use them in quotes and Touri Chat, but you can no longer edit them.

Tips

  • A rate share you decline is gone — the supplier would have to share again if you change your mind.
  • You only see rates from suppliers you're connected to. If a supplier isn't showing up, check Network → My Connections and accept any pending connections from them first. See Network directory.
  • New shares appear in real time — if a supplier shares while you're on the page, the pending section updates automatically.
  • The "Accepted" badge doesn't mean "valid forever". Rate sheets usually have a date range printed on them — always check before quoting a client.
