Signing STO contracts
For: Agents Where to find it: Sidebar → Contracts → Contracts
When a supplier wants to put a partnership agreement in place with you, they send an STO contract (also called an STO agreement or signing request). Tourium holds all the contracts you've been sent, tracks their status, and lets you sign them electronically without leaving the app. Signing happens in an embedded SignWell window.
What you'll see
The Contracts page is a table of every contract you've been sent:
- Agreement name — what the supplier called the template.
- Sender — the supplier's brand.
- Date sent.
- Status badge — Pending (needs action), Processing, Completed, Declined, or Expired.
Alongside Contracts, there's also a Contracts → Analytics page with summary statistics.
Common tasks
Sign a contract
- Open Contracts → Contracts.
- Find a contract with a Pending status.
- Click Sign on the row.
- Tourium opens the signing page. A loading message ("Loading document...") appears briefly.
- The SignWell signing window loads inside the page. You'll see the contract PDF and the signature fields the supplier placed on it.
- Fill in each field — draw, type, or upload an image for the signature; enter dates; initial where required.
- Submit your signature.
- A green "Signing completed" toast appears and Tourium takes you back to the Contracts list.
The contract's status changes to Processing while the supplier side finalises it, then to Completed once it's done.
Decline to sign
You don't have to sign. Inside the signing window, click Decline. You'll be asked for an optional reason. Once you confirm, the contract's status becomes Declined and a notice is recorded.
Declining is not the end of your relationship with the supplier — you can still message them, accept rates, and so on. The supplier can re-send a revised agreement if needed.
Download a signed contract
- Click any row with a Completed status.
- The signed PDF opens in a viewer with the signing history attached.
- Use the download button to save a local copy.
This is how you get your own records of agreements you've signed.
See signing analytics
Click Analytics in the sidebar under Contracts. You'll see high-level stats — how many contracts you've received, how many need your attention, how many are completed. Use it as a quick weekly check.
The signing window
A few things to know about the embedded SignWell window:
- It runs inside Tourium. You don't get redirected away — signing happens without leaving the page.
- It requires iframes. If you've got a strict ad blocker or browser privacy extension, it may interfere with the signing window. Disable the extension for the Tourium domain and try again.
- You can download the unsigned PDF. The signing window includes a download button if you want to read the contract offline before signing.
- You can close it mid-way. Closing the signing window doesn't decline the contract; the status stays Pending and you can come back later. Declining has to be done deliberately with the Decline button.
If a contract can no longer be signed
Opening a signing link for a contract that has already reached its end shows a clear status screen instead of the signing window — for example "This agreement has expired" (the signing window passed — ask the sender for a new copy), "This agreement was declined", "This agreement was cancelled" (the sender withdrew it), or "This agreement is already complete" (all parties have signed; nothing left to do). Use Back to list to return to your contracts.
Tips
- Read the contract before signing. The legal text matters even when the e-signature flow makes it feel casual.
- Sign from a laptop if you can. The signing window works on phones but is easier to work through on a bigger screen.
- If you're waiting for a signed copy after signing, check Contracts a few hours later — the final processing isn't always instant.
- Declining sends a signal to the supplier, but it's a courtesy to follow up with a short message explaining why.
