Getting started for agents

For: New agent accounts (travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs)

Welcome to Tourium. This article walks you through your first day as an agent on the platform — how you got here, how to finish setting up, and what to do first.

How you got here

Most agents arrive at Tourium by invitation. A supplier wants to share rates or a partnership agreement with you, so they sent your email address to the system, and the system emailed you a signup link (/agent-signup/{token}). The message usually says something like "a supplier wants to share rates with you".

Creating your account

Option A — Sign in with Google

Click Sign up with Google (or another available provider). You'll be asked to authorise Tourium to see your name and email, and once you approve, your account is created and you're signed in.

Option B — Set a password

  1. Enter your First Name and Last Name.
  2. Choose a password and confirm it.
  3. Click Create Account.

Either way, you land on your Dashboard a moment later.

If the email on the invitation already has a Tourium account, the signup link signs you straight in instead of creating a duplicate — you keep your existing history.

Your first day on Tourium

There's probably already work waiting for you. Here's the order to tackle it:

  1. Check your Dashboard. The welcome card shows how many rate shares, rate requests, and signing requests need your attention.
  2. Accept any pending rate shares. If a supplier has shared rates, they appear in Rates → Shared Rates. See Viewing shared rates — you have to accept each share before you can view the rates.
  3. Sign any pending agreements. Partnership agreements appear under Contracts. See Signing STO contracts.
  4. Do the platform tour. The guided walkthrough auto-runs on your first login, showing you each section of the sidebar. If you skipped it, restart from Settings → Profile. See Platform tour.
  5. Polish your brand. Go to your organisation name → Brands and make sure your agency name, logo, and contact details are correct. Suppliers see this when deciding whether to work with you. See Brands.

What's next

Once you're set up, your day-to-day work on Tourium will happen in a few places:

  • Rates → Shared Rates — rate sheets suppliers have sent you.
  • Rates → Rate Requests — asking suppliers for specific pricing.
  • Contracts — partnership agreements to review and sign.
  • Specials Feed — time-limited promotions from your supplier network.
  • Partner Documents — brochures, fact sheets, and other files.
  • Touri Chat — the AI assistant, useful for finding rates and summarising contracts quickly.

Tips

  • Your email is verified automatically on first login — no confirmation link to click.
  • If a rate share or contract didn't appear for you, double-check that you accepted the connection with the supplier first. See Network directory.
  • The platform tour is quicker than you think (about 5 minutes) and saves you a lot of "where is that?" later.
