Rates Engine

Rates Engine is the paid add-on that lets an agency bring its own supplier rate sheets into Tourium. Without it you can still see rates suppliers have shared with you directly; with it you can also upload the rate sheets you hold yourself — the PDFs and spreadsheets that arrive by email — and have Tourium extract them into structured, searchable rates.
It used to be bundled with the Itinerary Builder. The two are now separate add-ons, so you can take either or both: Rates Engine is the back-office side (getting rates in and keeping them current), Itinerary Builder is the client-facing side (building and quoting trips).
What it includes
- Uploading your own rate sheets — single files or bulk uploads.
- AI extraction and review — the same extraction pipeline suppliers use, with a review screen where you correct anything before saving.
- Managed suppliers — supplier records you maintain yourself, for operators who aren't on Tourium.
- The graph editor — edit the properties, services and rates you extracted.
- Touri Chat over your own rates — ask questions about the rates you uploaded, not just the ones shared with you.
Turning it on
- Go to Billing and find Rates Engine in the Add-Ons list.
- Switch it on. A confirmation dialog tells you what it costs and what your add-ons will come to per month.
- Confirm. If this is your first paid add-on you'll be taken to a secure checkout; nothing is charged until you complete it.
What it costs
Rates Engine is priced by how much inventory you have under management — the number of properties and service providers in your own managed rates, not the number of people in your team:

Prices are VAT-inclusive and may change — the Billing page always shows your current band and price. The price only changes when your inventory moves you into a different band; growing within a band never changes what you pay.
If your portfolio grows beyond the published bands, Tourium asks you to talk to the team rather than guessing a price.
Turning it off
Switching it off asks you to confirm and shows what your monthly cost drops to.
Your uploaded rates, extracted properties and services are not deleted — they stay in your account. What stops is the ability to upload and extract new ones, edit them in the graph editor, and ask Touri about them. Switch the add-on back on and access returns.
