Itinerary templates

Proposal templates control how your published itineraries look — colours, fonts, and which content blocks appear in what order. You design a template once; every consultant then drops client quotes straight into it. Each brand has exactly one default template, and consultants can switch templates per itinerary from the builder's top bar.

What you'll see

The Proposal templates page is a gallery of your templates. Each card shows the template name, how many blocks it contains, and a Default badge on the current default. Per-template actions: Make default, Duplicate, and Delete.

Common tasks

Create a template

Click New template.
Choose a starting point — Blank or one of the built-in starters (Atlas, Solstice, Cobalt, Verdant, Apex).
Click Use this template. The template editor opens.

Design with the assistant

The template editor includes a design assistant — an AI chat that builds the theme and blocks for you. Describe what you want, for example: "A warm safari look with serif headings, a full-bleed cover, then day-by-day, lodges and a rates table." The assistant designs the template while you watch the live preview, and you can keep sending instructions to refine it. Save when you're happy.

Design by hand

Two tabs of controls sit next to the live preview:

Theme — brand colours (primary, secondary, accent, background, surface, text, muted), heading and body fonts (Comfortaa, Inter, Lora, Montserrat, Playfair Display), corner rounding, spacing density, and layout options like day navigation.
Blocks — add, reorder, show/hide, and configure the content blocks that make up the proposal. Available blocks: Cover, Introduction, Day by day, Where you'll stay, Route map, Rates table, Gallery, Inclusions & exclusions, Terms, Contact & enquiry, Text, Divider, and Custom section.

The live preview renders realistic sample content as you work, so you always see exactly what a client would.

Save or discard your changes

The editor keeps a working draft as you edit. A notice — "You have unsaved changes. Save to keep them or discard to revert." — appears until you either save or click Discard changes.

Set the default, duplicate, or delete

Make default — new itineraries use this template unless the consultant switches.
Duplicate — start a variation without rebuilding from scratch.
Delete — removes the template after confirmation. You can't delete the current default; set another template as default first.

Good to know

Template changes affect future publishes. Already-published itineraries keep their published look until they're republished.
Blocks you hide stay configured — you can toggle them back on later without losing their settings.
The design assistant works within the block system — it can't introduce arbitrary layouts, which keeps every template renderable on the web, in PDF, and on mobile.
