Pricing dashboard and reports

For: Agents with Quote to Book and the Manage quotes permission Where to find it: Sidebar → QuotesPricing dashboard or Pricing reports

The pricing dashboard and reports show what your selling rules actually sold, and how the margin landed. They are built from what each quote said when it was sent — so a report about last quarter shows last quarter's prices, not what today's rules would produce.

Who sees what

  • Anyone who can quote (Quote to Book plus the Manage quotes permission) can open both pages.
  • A consultant sees only their own quotes. Someone with the Manage pricing permission sees everyone's.
  • Cost and margin follow the Consultants can see cost and margin setting in Pricing settings. If you may not see them, the margin card and every cost and margin column are left out — on screen and in the CSV.

The dashboard

Sidebar → Quotes → Pricing dashboard

The dashboard covers the last 12 months and shows:

  • Sold — the value of confirmed quotes (the trip was booked).
  • Margin — what you kept, with the margin percentage (only if you may see margin).
  • Conversion — how many of the quotes you sent were accepted or confirmed.
  • Quotes sent

Below those are three things worth acting on today. Each one is a link to where it gets fixed:

Card Where it takes you
Waiting for approval Approvals — prices holding up a quote.
Stale quote lines The Stale and expired report — sent quotes whose prices have moved.
Orphaned rules Selling rules — rules that are no longer pricing anything.

The Approvals and Selling rules pages need the Manage pricing permission, so without it the dashboard changes a little:

  • Waiting for approval still shows how many of your own price requests are waiting, but it is not a link.
  • Orphaned rules is not shown at all.
  • Stale quote lines is still a link, to your own stale quotes.

At the bottom, By month breaks sales down month by month, and Top suppliers lists the five suppliers most of your quoted value comes from.

The reports

Pick a report from the switch at the top. Each covers the last three months and can be downloaded with Download CSV; the CSV has exactly the same columns as the table on screen.

Report What it answers
Sales Confirmed business by month: how many quotes were confirmed, what was sold, what it cost and the margin.
Conversion How many quotes were sent, accepted, confirmed, lost and expired, and the conversion percentage.
Consultant discounts Per consultant: how many prices they changed by hand, how much they gave away against the rule's price, and how many needed approval.
Exceptions Quote lines that were flagged — sold below rack, far from cost, missing commission and so on.
Stale and expired Lines on sent quotes whose price has moved since sending, and what moved.
Supplier margin Per supplier: lines quoted, sold, cost and margin.
Rule performance Per rule: how many lines it priced, what they sold for, the margin, and how often consultants overrode it.

Good to know

  • Only each quote's current version counts. A quote that went through three versions is counted once, at its latest figures, so a discount or a supplier's sales are never counted twice.
  • Reports never re-price anything. Changing a rule today does not change what a report says about a quote sent last month.
